BlanksAreUs is a proud South African business specializing in laser cutting customizable blank discs and trinkets from perspex, acrylic, and wood materials. We believe in precision, quality, and supporting all your creative adventures.

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your relationship with us when you use this website, place an order, or otherwise interact with BlanksAreUs. By using our website and/or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please exit our website — no hard feelings!

All transactions and disputes shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

2. Ordering Your Custom Blanks — How it Works!

When you place an order with us on www.blanksareus.co.za, you're sending us a friendly offer to purchase one or more of our precision laser-cut blanks. Here’s the full scoop:

• Offer & Acceptance: Your order is your offer. We accept your offer once we confirm payment and dispatch your products to you. Until then, your order is subject to availability and our acceptance.
• Order Confirmation: Once you place an order, you’ll get an email confirming it has been received. This email acknowledges your order but not acceptance — we only accept once payment clears and we ship.
• Payment: We accept secure online payments through the available e-commerce payment options on our site. Full payment must be received and cleared before we will process and dispatch your order. Simply put: no payment confirmation, no shipment — no exceptions.
• Order Cancellation & Modification: After your order is accepted, cancellations or changes are tricky. Please contact us immediately at support@blanksareus.co.za if you wish to change or cancel. We will make every reasonable effort to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee changes once production has started.

3. How We Get Your Blanks to You — Shipping & Delivery

We want your order to reach you safely and swiftly, so here's the delivery rundown:

• Delivery Partners: We use CourierGuy, offering two delivery options:
  • PUDO Locker: Secure, self-service lockers across South Africa — great if you want flexible 24/7 collection times.
  • Door-to-Door Courier: Delivered to your doorstep, typically within 3–4 business days after dispatch.
• Shipping Rates: Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your delivery address, order size, and selected delivery method. All shipping fees include the cost of packaging materials appropriate to the items ordered, as well as courier delivery charges — no hidden extras.
• Your Responsibilities: Please double-check your delivery details — we rely on you to provide accurate address and contact info. Wrong or incomplete details that cause delays or lost packages are on you!
• Tracking: We do not track your parcels from our side. You can track directly through CourierGuy's system with the tracking info they provide. If you run into any delivery issues, please contact CourierGuy first.
• Delivery Times: We aim for prompt shipping but sometimes, delays happen (weather, courier strikes, etc.). We appreciate your patience — rest assured we dispatch your order as quickly as possible once payment clears.

4. Returns, Refunds & How We Handle Them — The Friendly Way

Blanks Are Us crafts custom laser cut blanks just for you, so we don't accept returns unless something's genuinely defective, damaged, or not quite what you ordered. No worries though—we're here to make it right!

• We'll review it with care and let you know if it's approved—promise to be fair and speedy.
• Heads up: Returns need our okay first, or they might bounce back (and you'd cover the shipping).

Craft Blank Product Disclaimer
Our laser-cut goodies from MDF, acrylic, and similar materials are awesome, but laser magic means a few natural quirks:

• Tiny burn marks or darker edges on MDF (totally normal glow-up!).
• Film marks or light scratches on acrylic (peel it off for perfection).
• Slight color shifts between batches.
• Small cutting tolerances or wood's unique personality.

These aren't defects—they're part of the handmade charm. Double-check they're perfect for your project before ordering!

Refunds & Goodies
Approved cases get store credit to grab more blanks from blanksareus.co.za (win-win for crafting adventures!).

Cancelled Payments or Orders
If you cancel a payment or order outside our chat, it'll cancel the order right away—no hard feelings.

Abandoned Items
Life's hectic, we get it! But if your parcel chills at a locker or pickup spot for over 30 days, it's officially an abandoned treasure. No refunds then—grab it quick so it doesn't feel lonely!

5. Fragile Goods — Please Handle With Care!

Our blanks are awesome, but some of them — that perspex, acrylic, and wood — can be a bit delicate.

• Fragility Notice: Due to their nature, many products are fragile and may be classified as non-refundable.
• Handle With Love: Please treat your products carefully once received. Damage caused by misuse, improper handling, or incorrect application is sadly not refundable.
• Before You Buy: We love that you’re excited to get crafting! Just a quick heads-up — please take a moment to give our product descriptions and photos a good once-over before placing your order. That way, you’ll be sure you’re getting exactly the right blanks for your creative masterpiece. After all, a little extra homework now saves future “oops” moments later!

Once your goodies arrive, they are your responsibility.

While we craft each blank with care and precision, once your order is in your hands, BlanksAreUs cannot accept liability for any losses, damages, or defects that result from misuse, mishandling, or incorrect application of the products. We trust that you’ll treat your blanks with the care they deserve, but if the unexpected happens after delivery, the responsibility lies with you.

Our laser-cut blanks are crafted specifically for crafting, creative projects, and related uses. Please ensure you use and handle them appropriately to get the best results and preserve their quality. Using our products outside these intended purposes may lead to damage or unsatisfactory outcomes, and BlanksAreUs cannot be held responsible for any issues arising from improper use.

At BlanksAreUs, we pour our hearts into crafting every blank with precision and care because delivering top-notch quality is our promise to you. However, should you receive a product that is defective or if an item becomes unavailable, our liability is limited exclusively to either a replacement of the product or a refund of the purchase price paid.

Please note that this liability does not extend beyond the original purchase price, and we cannot be held responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from such defects or unavailability.
